DÉJÀ VU –VEDA TU!

Hey, I’ve been here before! How many times have you said that to yourself? I am sure it’s been more than a handful number of times. The very of concept of the Déjà vu is almost like challenging god at his own game. The very thought of giving god a run for his money sounds like fun right! Well not exactly. I’m no expert at this déjà vu business but I am sure that science has some suitable explanation for this phenomenon. Why only humans? I suppose animals must be having such feelings too! Just imagine, a lion prowling on a wilder beast, just as it is about to pounce on the helpless creature, it suddenly strikes the lion like lightning. Saying I’ve seen this man, err lion (?), it stops to recollect and in the split of the second, the wilder beast gets just enough time to scamper to safety, long enough to sit one day and share this story with its siblings! I’ve heard theories related to this occurrence stating the delay between the time both eyes take in transmitting ...

The Nagpur Diaries..

Gazillion subjects, VBD’s and countless number of annas samosas later, we have reached the final step of our college lives. This is the time of our lives that we would never forget. It is not very me in saying the above statement though! I was once a staunch believer that the school days would be the ones most cherished and missed by us whilst the college was just a four year course which would pass on. But coming to the fag end of my engineering degree, the very thought of leaving the college where we spent most of our days, studying (sometimes), bunking (most of the times!), completing journals or just plain ol’ chilling out in the canteen evokes a weird response from the brain of mine. A sense of emotion grips me with that bone chilling thought of moving on, graduating away from college. How much we have changed as individuals during the time we have spent in college is remarkable if given a thought to. How we as kids on the verge of adolescence joined the college with the will to d...

Hope you people have made up your minds..leave myself wondering upon the possibilities..

F1 in India!!

All you Formula 1 fans out there, F1 is finally coming to India, to Delhi specifically speaking!! Talks were going on(they always go on..and on) for the past ten years to get the F1 on track here in Gandhi land, now finally its a go! Few months ago liquor dude Mallya proposed to get the track as Rajpath and the surrounding roads around Parliament(as if we have less trouble there already!!), but good'ol Ernie wants a new track altogether. Hey, wouldn'tve been cool if the track was the same one they thought about earlier?? Burning rubber at 300km/hr+ in front of Rashtrapati Bhawan!! Where would the pits be? possibly inside the parliament!! Anyways, the very fact that F1 is coming has got me super excited! Just to see the Ferrrari's and McLaren's zooming past and the sweet sound of the roaring v-8's would be a delight. The only thing I am worried about is the snails pace at which work is carried out here in Delhi, in India as a matter of fact! Alonso crosses the first ...

Pirates review::-

All you fans of Mr.Bloom, I have one question for you,why do you like him again?? I finally made it out of the house yesterday and went to see the long awaited Pirates of d Carib. I don't follow the ratings given in the papers cos gosh! face it, critics get paid like hell to give good reviews. Anyways, the movie is strictly for those who have seen the parts 1 and 2 in detail,and when I say detail, I mean the minutest of intricacies involved in them. First of all there is no prolouge(No, I was not late to the hall), so any person/thing who went to see pirates thinking he/she/it would understand it with ease, would make for a good sleep in the AC. As usual acting by Depp and Keira was excellent(no grudges against Orlando, I hate his acting..). The story revolves around the infamous Jack Sparrow, the renowned pirate of the high seas during the era of the 16th century. Following the path shown by ""cylpso"", the crew set out to find Sparrow in Davy Jones locker(wher...

Vacations...

Heights of desparation have finally got me blogging again!! There was a time a few days back during the exam days, I was frantically waiting for the long awaited vacations, but now I am beginning to realise how it must have been for those in solitary confinement in the war days!!The horrible Delhi heat coupled with the constant urge to do absolutely nothing at all has made things worse. I went to Palika the other day just to return back home in an hour....IN AN HOUR PEOPLE!! Its not that you go to a place like Palika and just return with some blank cds!! The heat has caught up with me so I finally decided to restart blogging (and scrapping) until the temperature reduces a bit(28 C). More to come..comments pls!
