Beatles - Let It Be

Random shite

My dear blog. As is customary, I apologize for abandoning you time and time again. You would be glad to know that I am in one of those moods today where I can write on and on. It is sad that I am not in these moods more often. Waking up at random hours while in college, how I used to produce scripts to shame Oscar winners (at least what I used to think!), gone are those days, I long for them, I crave the innocence. While I am at it, might as well give you an update of the on's and happenings in my wretched and boring(super boring) life. I sit here at 12.00am Saturday morning, fully aware that I don't have work to get up to, aware that I can sleep, aware that I have a million things pending, which will bring me up from my slumber with a thud. The feeling of dis-satisfaction with life has overcome me in the last few months, the reason for which I search like Holmes in a haystack. The emptiness which has filled me, has caused a void, never felt before. I am not one to express such

The Beatles - Yesterday

Worry not sweet child

It shall all be fine, this time will fly you shall remember the time gone by and laugh at miseries naive tears of joy shall trickle hence shall be forgotten the trust shall be forgotten the mist the fist of anger once portrayed shall vanish in the gleam of bliss time shall fly by sweet child all that remains will be the red sky this sky shall be for the one who follows the letter thence be opened forgotten the notes of suffocation the time shall fly by oh sweet one this time shall come not again shall not be the end though this each phase will thus arise shall you go through the cycle again it shall repeat beware itself hence red skies will reappear shall you remember this phrase once again for gleam and joy will fill your face

Today, Yesterday, the Past and the Future

The title may say a lot. Many people would fit in their whole life story in these confines. As for me, I talk short term. The story is ongoing! The last month has been, as always is and always will be, a circus of random jumping, skipping from one pillar to another, from one post to the other. In of matter of three weeks, I have been living it up in crowded and exuberant London, royal Edinburgh, and the wee green city Glasgow. A good lucky shot at a job opportunity has seen me changing my job from an Inventory Auditor to a Visa Submissions Officer and Operations trainee! Fortunate as it was, I am back to Glasgow. Having got the chance to live in London for a few weeks, I wouldn't advise anyone to go there unless he/she has a job which pays truck loads of dough! All said and done, it was an experience in itself. Everyone going about their day with the look of absolute professionalism, not even a hint of flinching to say a courteous hi or hello, no way! I did realize this though, on

Don't lose your identity

Before I lose link to my blog, as I invariably do, I thought it best to get a few words in before I get busy again! The update is that I am back to the old Scottish town after what I might call a hectic India visit. It was really nice to meet friends and family and soak in a bit of the home weather after a span of more than an year. It was also nice to get to talk all the people I did, taking valuable advise from them about my career and future. Getting back to Glasgow with a fresh perspective on things, a new thought process and a motivated mindset, the last thing I wanted was to get sick. As all things, one never realizes the value of the body until something goes wrong with it! I was proud and boasted that I didn't get even a cold for more than two and a half years before I got sick this time around. Anyway, I am recovering now, and shouldn't be long before I am fit and fighting again. What I meant to talk about was the fact that we as Indians pride ourselves on being able t

Revisiting the blog-o-sphere

Its been a while since I logged on and updated my blog, you may say that for a while I almost forgot that I had one. Anyway, here I am, fit and well since my last post nearly half an year ago! What sparked me to put up an update today was a letter from Google which I received yesterday, BY POST. The weirdness of the fact that Google actually sends mails by post was somehow inconceivable to me! They are apparently offering me Rs.2500 worth of free advertising to make my blog more of a happening place in terms of number of viewers! As always, I have my reasons for not blogging as much as I should. Main reasons are my two recent purchases. A sudden attraction of technology made me go in for the iPod Touch 3G 32GB late last year and more recently an Android HTC Sense Hero. I attribute these devices to the gradual demise of my blog. So is the comfort of these devices that my overall usage of my laptop has gone down! Rolling out of bed in the morning, just press a wee key on the Touch, get m
